What does AFK mean?
AFK stands for away from keyboard. It means you are not at your computer or phone for a moment.
"AFK for five minutes, the pizza is here."
AFK comes from online chats and gaming. You use it to say you are gone for a bit and won't reply. People also say it when there is no keyboard anywhere near them. Also read what IRL means.
