What does Doorhalen mean?
Doorhalen means going out all night until the next morning, without sleeping.
They decided to doorhalen and only cycle home when the sun came up.
Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.
People often keep drinking to fight the tiredness. The price comes the next day, usually as a massive hangover and a very brak Sunday. It is the party version of an all-nighter.
