What does JC mean?
JC is short for jaarclub, a group of friends from the same year within a Dutch student association.
"Are you coming with the JC this weekend?" she asked in the group chat.
Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.
The short version is mostly used in texts and between members. Nobody has time to type jaarclub every time. Your JC is often your second family during your student years.
