What does Thesis mean?
A thesis is the big research project or paper you write to finish your degree.
"I've been working on my thesis for three months and I still haven't come up with a title."
What a thesis is exactly differs per country and programme. Usually it is about a clear research question and a big report. In the Netherlands it is called a scriptie. Handing it in is usually followed by a big party, the afstubo. Also read about dissertation and deadline.
