What does Thuis mean?
Thuis (home) is what Dutch students call their student house, not their parents' place.
"I'm going home," she said, meaning her student house and not her parents.
Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.
