30 Seconds
30 Seconds is a team game where you get your team to guess as many words as possible in 30 seconds. As a drinking game every failed round turns into a small penalty for your team.
What is 30 Seconds?
How to play
- Split the group into teams of at least two players.
- One player takes a card and describes the words on it.
- The team tries to guess as many words as possible within 30 seconds.
- You can't say the word itself. Translating or spelling it doesn't count either.
- After the round, count how many words were guessed right.
- Then it's the next team's turn.
When do you drink?
- For every word that wasn't guessed, the team takes a sip.
- Does the player explaining say the word by accident? Then they drink.
- The team with the lowest score downs a drink.
Extra rules
- Play to a fixed score. The first team to reach 20 right answers wins.
- Want to play faster? Skip the board and only use the cards.
- Only play hotseat rounds: 30 seconds in which your team has to guess three words. Didn't make it? Then you down a drink.
