What does Burger mean?

Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.

After your student years you become a burger whether you like it or not. A full-time job, your own place and commuting to the office by car or by burgerrups. It has nothing to do with hamburgers. Also read about arbeider and adulting.
