What does Adulting mean?
Adulting means doing grown-up things, like paying bills or calling the dentist. Usually with a big sigh.
"I did my taxes and folded my laundry today. Serious adulting."
The word is almost always used as a joke. You say it when you are proud of something totally normal. Cooking a real meal. Doing your admin. Paying rent on time. For most students adulting starts the day they move out. Also read about broke student and quarter-life crisis.
