What does Internship mean?
An internship is temporary work to get to know a job or company from the inside.
"This semester I have an internship at an agency in Amsterdam. Finally some money."
An internship can be paid or unpaid. Students do one to get real experience and fill up their CV. Sometimes you roll straight into a job afterwards. In Dutch it is called a stage, and many programmes require one. Also read about digital footprint and deadline.
