Dutch student slang
What does Labo mean?
Labo has two meanings among Dutch students: a lame drinker who won't keep up, or the long receipt from the supermarket.
"What a labo," they joked when he left his beer untouched for the third time.
Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.
At a borrel, a labo ("laffe borrelaar") refuses to adten or drinks way too slowly. At the supermarket, labo stands for "lange bon", the extra long receipt from the self-checkout. Two very different things, one word.
