What does Campus mean?
A campus is the grounds of a university, with lecture halls, student housing and other facilities.
"Let's meet at the coffee place in the middle of campus after the first lecture."
On a campus you find lecture halls, libraries, sports fields and often student housing. In the Netherlands Twente and Wageningen have real campuses. In most Dutch cities though, the university is spread across town and students live in student houses. Also read about dorm and student union.
