What does Cramming mean?
Cramming means stuffing as much study material into your head as possible in a very short time, usually right before an exam.
"The exam is tomorrow at nine and I just started chapter one. Time for cramming."
Cramming sometimes helps you remember something for a day. But a week later it is usually gone again. It often goes hand in hand with an all-nighter. Dutch students call an exam a tenta. Also read what study session means.
