What does Galaplicht mean?
Galaplicht (gala duty) is the unwritten, and very debated, idea that a gala date means more than just dancing.
"Forget the galaplicht," she said, "I'm just going for a fun night."
Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.
