What does Safedate mean?
A safedate is a date without any romantic intentions, often a friend you take to a datediner or gala.
For the datediner she simply asked her best friend to be her safedate.
Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.
