What is Higher or Lower?

How to play

1. Take the jokers out of the deck.
2. Shuffle the cards.
3. Put the deck face down in the middle.
4. Turn the top card face up next to the deck.
5. Pick a dealer.
6. The dealer asks the player whose turn it is: higher or lower?
7. The player picks higher or lower than the face up card.
8. The dealer turns over the next card.
9. Did the player guess right? Then nothing happens, or they can hand out a sip.
10. Did the player guess wrong? Then that player drinks.
11. Is the card the same? Then the player drinks double.
12. The new card stays on the table as the face up card.
13. Then it's the next player's turn.
14. Keep playing until the deck is empty.

When do you drink?

• You drink when you guess wrong.
• You drink double when the card has the same value.
• With a 9 the player can make up a rule. Whoever breaks that rule drinks.

Extra rules

• Agree beforehand whether the ace is high or low.
• Let someone keep playing until they are wrong.
• Let someone keep playing until they get three right in a row.
