What does GR mean?
GR stands for "gemeenschappelijke ruimte", the shared living room of a Dutch student house.
On Friday nights the GR was always packed with housemates and their friends.
Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.
