What does Huispanda mean?
The huispanda (house panda) is the housemate who hasn't had sex for the longest time.
As a joke they gave this year's huispanda a real bamboo plant to look after.
Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.
Pandas are famous for rarely mating, hence the name. In some student houses the title comes with a plant as a symbolic gift. The score is kept in pandapunten. All in good fun. Mostly. Also read about down bad and HG.
