What does HG mean?

"Is there a HG home who wants to eat with us?" my friend asked.

Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.

Dutch students live with a lot of HG's. The newest one is the huisjongste, or HJ, and gets the most chores. In English you would say flatmate.
