What does Slow fade mean?
A slow fade is slowly having less and less contact with someone, instead of clearly ending it.
"First he texted every day, then every other day, now once a week. This is a slow fade."
Unlike ghosting, a slow fade happens step by step. Shorter replies, fewer plans and less effort. In the end the contact is just gone. Being clear is usually kinder. Also read about dry texting and breadcrumbing.
