What does Spijtknor mean?
A spijtknor (regret oink) is someone who regrets not joining a traditional corps student association.
"I'm actually a bit of a spijtknor," he admitted after seeing the photos.
Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.
Corps members call outsiders knor. A spijtknor is a knor who looks at the parties, the friendships and the traditions and wishes they had joined. It is never too late, they say. Well, sometimes it is.
