What does Ab actis mean?
Ab actis is the secretary on the board of a Dutch student association, dispuut or committee.
"Did you send around the minutes of the last meeting yet?" the praeses asked the ab actis.
Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.
The ab actis takes the minutes, handles the emails and keeps the admin of the club in order. After the praeses, they are often the first person to go to.
