What does Study abroad mean?
Studying abroad means doing part of your studies in another country.
"Next semester I'm studying abroad in Lisbon. I'll probably learn more about beach bars than economics."
A stay abroad can last a few weeks, a semester or a whole year. Often through your university or Erasmus. You are then an exchange student. For lots of students it is an unforgettable experience. Also read what minor means.
