What does Office hours mean?
Office hours are set times when students can drop by a teacher with questions.
"I don't get this formula at all. I'm going to the professor's office hours tomorrow."
During office hours you can ask questions about the material, get feedback or discuss your research. You don't need a separate appointment. Lots of students use them way too little. Also read about lecture, seminar and tutorial.
