What does Quaestor / Quaestrix mean?
The quaestor (or quaestrix) is the treasurer on the board of a Dutch student association.
As quaestor she presented the annual accounts of the association at the ALV.
Dutch student slang. This is a Dutch word. You will hear it a lot at Dutch universities, student associations and in student houses.
Also called fiscus or thesaurier. This person handles the money: making budgets, keeping the cash and paying the bills for the association, dispuut or student house. Another Latin title, because of course it is. Also read about bestuur and praeses.
